Heaps and Spponfuls of Sweetness

I have mixed opinions on the amount of sweet treats accumulating in my kitchen. I am swimming in inspiration, feel right at home in my kitchen (small as it may be for now), and don't mind sampling and resampling the goodies adorning the countertops at 3 a.m.

This has been one of the most exciting and liberating things I've decided to do. I love coming up with unique flavor combinations, inspired designs, and mixing in all of my love to be baked at 325°.

As much fun as I have coming up with these delicacies, it is unparalleled by sharing them right out of the oven with those I love.

Check out some of the latest chemistry experiments and art projects I've been cooking up in my kitchen.

Feel free to shoot me a comment about things you'd like to see on the menu or techniques you'd like me to try!

Sweet dreams, sweethearts!

Individually Inspired Creative Hand Painted Wedding Cakes

If you’re looking to stun your guests as you celebrate your special day, please consider allowing me to create a one of a kind cake for you that will express your individuality and creativity for a memorable treat to feed your spouse. Get the cameras ready for this show stopper. Family and friends will be talking about this cake after sinking their teeth into any number of rich and decadent homemade cake.
I specialize in hand painting cakes and can recreate any print you may have. Some brides like to use their dresses or invitations as inspiration for a one of a kind design. Others revel in the simplicity of a floral tapestry custom designed to fit their theme.
I am starting a new adventure in cake decorating. I’ve been an artist since I could hold a Crayola marker and have created artwork in a variety of arenas and mediums. I love to bake and thought I could merge my passions to create custom wedding cakes.
We can sit down for a one on one session to put your ideas to paper. At this time please feel free to request samples of any of the flavors of cake and filling. Right now my popular flavors are vanilla bean, chocolate, red velvet cake, and lemon. The most requested fillings are buttercream, mocha, chocolate ganache, cream cheese, and raspberry. I’d be happy to prepare up to three of these for our session. I would also bake any other requested flavor combinations.
Your cake may also be featured on my new website as part of my growing portfolio. You can visit my website at Pocketful of Posies on Pinterest (Krystle Danskin) and follow my Tumblr at www.tumblr.com/pocket-filled-with-posies to keep updated on new designs.
Please contact me at 615-491-2279. Please text or leave a voice message.
I look forward to helping make your wedding dreams come true!
